6 Months Old!

Little buddy, I am so behind on your updates. But I don't want to miss writing them down. You turned 6 months old on March 3, 2017. You are barely starting to roll over. Most of the time you are content to lay on the floor and study everything around you. I have never seen a baby that focuses so intently on just one thing. You will hold books and stare at them for several minutes.
I took you into your 6 month check up and you hadn't gained any weight since your last check up and the doctor thinks that my milk supply must have dropped so we started feeding you formula after nursing and you will eat 4-6 ounces after nursing! I took you back two weeks later and you had gained two pounds! That's a lot! I don't think you will nurse much longer because you love how easy it is eat out of a bottle. I don't mind, I am just happy that you are getting back on track with growth.
Dad and I also gave you your first taste of solid foods. We gave you carrots and you LOVED them! But only that first time. Haha. It has been a little hard to get you to eat solid foods because you don't seem too interested in them. That's okay, we will just take it at your pace.
You also love bathtime. You think it is so funny to splash around in the water. But we have to watch you close because you keep trying to roll over in the tub to get a better look at the water around you.
We love you so much! There are so many days where I just look at you and can't that this is my life and that I am so blessed to be your mom.
