Road Trip

Over a week ago Zac and I started the our very long journey from Seattle down to the wonderful land of San Diego. We have been living out of a suitcase for over a week and we have about four more weeks of suitcases before we have our own space again.....Our trip down to San Diego was originally going to take five days we are now on day eight and we still haven't made it there. Haha...what can I saw spending time with friends and family is so much more fun than finding a job and actually trying to be an adult.

Our first stop was Zac's parents house in Spokane. I will never get over the beautiful view from their home. I seriously have the best in-laws in the world.
We also got to spend a night with Zac's grandparents. They are the funniest and cutest couple I have ever met. I hope Zac and I can be as cute as them when we get to that age.  Zac's grandpa is the only 93 yr old I know that knows more about new technology than I do.

Elise was so kind and let us stay with her for a night. It is always fun seeing my sisters. Porter was being a little camera shy. :)  (P.S. check out the awesome art work in the background, yes, she painted that)

The next part of my trip I have been looking forward to for awhile.....meet Megan and Kelly! These two girls have been my best friends for as long as I can remember. I haven't seen Megan for over 2 years! We had a lovely chat over BYU creamy ice cream.yummm...Our lives have taken us in such different directions, but where ever we end up we will always be the best of friends. I love that no matter how long it has been whenever we are together we pick  back up as if we never were apart.

Zac and I have also spent a lot of time with other family, friends, and old roommates. Its so nice to see so many people that I love. All of Zac's siblings are in Provo now, so that is particularly fun getting to spend some time with all of them.  What can I say, my life is definitely not what I pictured it to be, but that is a good thing. It is so much better than I could have imagined. It is full of wonderful, lovely family and friends that let us eat their food and sleep on their couches. :) Our life is such a crazy adventure. I am just enjoying the ride.

  1. I'm glad you're having a fun trip, but was so sad that we just missed you guys at Elise's. I hope you don't get too tired of couches before this is all over. ;)
