1. Made to Seattle in one piece
2. We found our way on to Zac's company soccer team after only one day on the job
3. I have been super lazy, reading books and watching netflicks .....sigh....a much needed break
4. I have two job interviews for next week! One as a sports camp coach and the other for a personal trainer. Both of which I am so excited for! I just hope one of them like me enough to give me a job.
5. I have learned that most people don't only swear when they are angry...but pretty much all the time, and the middle finger is as common as a wave. Yep, definitely not in Provo anymore.
5. The Twitchells ( The couple we are living with) are great. They are the nicest people.
6. Seattle is so GREEN!! I thought Provo was getting pretty green when we left, but it is nothing compared to up here.
7. It has only rained one day since we got here, I think Seattle is just being kind and letting me adjust before it tries to drown me. :)
8. Lastly, Thanks to Mom, Dad and the in-laws for the GPS. I am pretty sure I would have died without it by now.....I actually drove somewhere all by myself yesterday, and just as I was starting to feel confident that I could navigate this crazy place...I lock my keys in the car. Haha! It is a work in progress. :)
All in all I think I will survive and that I will actually really like it here. Here is to another week of new experiences.
I'm glad you're liking the Twitchells and the greenery of Seattle. Sorry about the swearing though. We don't get much of that in our nice, little town. And hooray for GPS! I was wondering how you'd survive up there. I wouldn't.
