Grandma Burton

March, April and May were pretty crazy months in the Vidmar household. Not long after Zac's grandpa passed away, his Grandma Burton also passed away. Grandpa and Grandma Burton had been married for over 70 years! They were definitely one of the sweetest, most caring and loving couple you would ever meet. I hope Zac and I can have a marriage as strong and loving as theirs.

Grandma Burton grew up in the South. She met Zac's grandpa while he was stationed out there during WWII. She joined the church and left all of her family to move out west with Grandpa and start their life together.

When she passed away, they were living in Logan, UT. So we headed up there for the service. She was then buried in a small cemetery in rural Idaho about an hour north of Logan. It was so beautiful and green, it was the perfect resting place for such an amazing lady. The cemetery also is the resting place for many of Zac's ancestors. It was neat to walk around and here about his family history.
