A True Seattle Experience

Can you believe it that July is almost over? I can't. This summer has flown by. The weather here has been beautiful the last little while. Now I know why people love Seattle in the summer. It isn't scorching hot and it is beautiful! A little while ago Zac and I got to go to a Mariners game. I was a little skeptical about going to a baseball game probably because I find baseball to be one of the most boring sports ever. But I was pleasantly surprised at how much fun Zac and I had. And believe it or not but the Mariners actually won! For those of you not familiar with Baseball, the Seattle Mariners are one of the worst teams in Major League Baseball.  So it was a pretty big deal.

No Seattle experience would be complete without a trip to Ivars. Ivars is a fast food Fish n' Chips chain in the Seattle area. It was okay. ( Don't tell any Seattlens, but I thought it tasted just the same as those fish fillets you buy at the grocery store). I think the highlight of this experience was eating on a flowing dock on Lake Washington.

Zac and I have about a month and a half left here and I can honestly say that I will be sad to leave. I think I have fallen in love with the Northwest. Of course, it will never replace Arizona. Arizona will always have my heart. :)

  1. Ha! Ha! We think baseball is boring too. Glad it was fun though. Our friends took us to Ivars the first time we visited Seattle. I honestly don't remember what I got or how it tasted though. I'm crossing my fingers that you'll still love the NW and want to move back after CA!
