Nothing can quite describe how I feel about home and how I feel about home during the 24th of July. That one week wraps up all the wonderfulness of summer into a nice package. I finally got to go home for the 24th of July celebrations this year. I haven't been home during the summer since 2010. Going home was my treat for being all alone this summer.
There are so many things I love about St. Johns and summer. I love getting snow cones. I love the Monsoon season and watching the dark storm clouds roll in. I love the lightening and thunder. I love being able to look at the sky at night and see millions of stars shining down at me. I love sleeping out on the trampoline. I love seeing old friends and seeing how everything and everyone is changing and growing up. I love going to the Wilber's and seeing people I know. I love going to all the 24th activities (campfire circle, alumni soccer game, the races, the parade, etc.) Most of all, I love spending time with my family.

It may have a new name, but it is still the same. (Sorry, about the blurriness :)
(Me, Katie and Megan) It was so good to see these girls! I haven't seen Katie since her wedding and it was great to see Megan and her family before they move.
Cousins! I am the odd one out without red hair. :)
If I thought Zac would go for small town life, I would totally try to get him to move to St. Johns. I don't think that will ever happen. But it was so great getting to go home and visit.

I feel the same way about home and the 24th. I'm totally jealous, but I'm so glad you got to go and had a great time. You deserve it after this summer!
