Happenings

Wow....It has been awhile since I last posted. I think I have an ok excuse though. I dropped my camera that I have had since I was 16 and it broke. :( Sad day. So if anyone has any good recommendations for a  digital camera that is not very expensive please let me know. In the mean time I have been using Zac's camera from his mission and, well, it just isn't as good. Oh well, it will have to do for now.
Zac and I are still enjoying CA and the beautiful weather. But I am afraid I am turning into a wimp. Whenever it gets below 60 degrees, I think it is freezing. Zac is neck deep in school. He his doing so well and I love to brag about my incredibly smart husband. I am enjoying working for ACI and using my degree. It keeps me very busy and I like it.
I hardly see Zac during the week because he has night classes and HW so we try to make the most of our weekends. We have had some pretty fun dates.

Nickel City! Who does not love winning tickets you get to trade in for candy and plastic army guys?!
Gonzaga Basketball came to town and according to Zac "they are the best and it is impossible to get tickets to their games in Spokane". It made me miss going to the Marriott Center to watch my BYU Cougars. Gonzaga won and we had a lot of fun cheering with all the other Zag fans there.

Zac and I signed up for a Ragnar race in April. I am so stoked! It is a 200 mile relay race  with 12 people on a team. For our training run on Saturday we decided to run up a mountain. Needless to say, I am sore and I ended up walking most of it. But the view at the top was pretty incredible.

You can see the ocean in the distance and a little bit of Mexico on the left.

While Zac is away at school in the evenings I work on my crafty projects. :) This is my most recent one. I don't know what it is about orange right now, but I just love it. I found this little cabinet thing out by the dumpster so I turned it into a night stand. I think it turned out pretty cute.

On Valentine's Day Zac and I will have been married for 3 1/2 years. I am so lucky to married to such a great guy. Because of Zac, we have had so many great adventures. You never know what life is going to throw at you next, but I know I can do anything as long as I have my best friend by my side.

  1. Sorry about your camera! That stinks! I think Mom has a cannon elph camera and loves it and Elise has a really good one too, but I don't remember what hers is. I'm glad you guys have been having some fun even with Zac's super busy schedule. You should talk to Alan (or me) about Ragnar. We've never done one, but Alan has done Hood to Coast which is very similar 3 times. He would probably have some good tips for you. It sounds awesome. I would like to do one once just for the experience. Your nightstand turned out great! I like the orange.
